Unfair to rate a 13 year old beer. Definitely BCS, and you can taste echos of what the vanilla used to be in the aftertaste. It’s mostly 10’BCS with some extra vanilla as it warms. Rich. It didn’t “go bad” but “held up”? No. No need to confuse the two
