Very LCI. Was psyched to hear about the use of Topping Goliath barrels, and it paid dividends as some nice dark chocolate notes crept in to complement the raspberry and dark cherry flavors. Light astringency in spots but was impressed w this overall. 4.5

This was pretty tasty. Really solid melomel. Big, luscious raspberry flavor up front. Berry notes pairs well with barrel. Light chocolate edge w a touch of vanillin and mild oak spice. Has a nice subtle complexity under the big berry. Tasty mead I’m a fan
