Jon Rector: We used to drink this in high school, having a laugh over the name and how boozy and "odd" it was. Of course not knowing it's a gold winning brew

Man, I feel like almost everything I try from these folks is a four-star beer. This one was a great slow sipper! It's quite fruit-forward, and the mango is a nice addition to the usual framboise flavor profile. Medium-high acidity, low funk.

Probably the first Belgian-style beer I ever tried, a looooooong time ago now - before I even knew what they were! This one was a pretty cool revisit. Some apple, some spice. It still holds up well, just like this branded goblet I've had for ages π

Quite cannabis-forward. Not very hazy. I'm honestly finding these new hype, weedy hops to be fairly harsh (I'm looking at you, Riwaka!). I find myself pining for the Phantasm/Nectaron days - but maybe I've become Abe Simpson shaking my fist at a cloud π

A pretty straightforward Italian Pils, in a good way.
