Highest abv I’ve had at 18.7. 3.5 years old, only tried once and delicious. A bourbon and chocolate bomb. Paired well with ribs and some bourbon. Only if I have another. Best imperial stout I had outside of bcs . And maybe a top 5 beer for me overall.

Not as good as the 2017 version. Tastes different, less hoppy, maybe palate is shot from the 2017. Still a solid beer.

As always a classic very hoppy beer. Bottled 4-7-17. Great color and taste. Love on tap fresh at the brewery, but this 7 years old beer doesn’t disappoint.

When in Chicago, stop at the GI taproom, also at other place. Very smooth and sweet. Very nice barleywine.

Tried size by size with the 2023 org 14.1, this one was sweeter and got more bourbon and barrel notes. Better for taste but not for 3x price. Over 110 in the empty collection now.
