It’s a black ale not stout on the side… is that a stout I wonder now haha. Not creamy velvety carbonation more like forced carbonation. Lots of burnt charr from the oak. Very roasted not chocolate forward IMO.

Found an old fossil at Mr K’s Liquor canned 10/27/23. At least warn the customers that shits old and lower those damn prices. No rating due to age but I can tell it must have been pretty good for 6 months old. The store is legendary & I’d expect better.

Bud Rhoades: Pliny was 6 weeks old, Hop Butcher cans up to 8 months old, Other Half 4 months old, it was disturbing, and it aint cheap.
Eric Madrid: Bud R. Yeah they are def one of the best IMO which is why I’m calling them out. I hate old ipas. Couldn't really see the bottom of the can out the fridge and they were about to close the store so I was rushing out.
Eric Madrid: Bud R. Would hate to own a store and collect old cans knowing you might be wasting your money as the owner if you sell em cheaper because they’re old. That’s why I prefer picking up from the source if I can. Hope to try Ghost Town again fresher 🍻
