Amanda Vinson is drinking a Jurajskie Świąteczne by Browar na Jurze at Untappd at Home
Traditional Polish Christmas beer. Tastes of cocoa and honey. There is a little chilli tingle in there as well. Oddly a little like a kvass. Photo of cheerful young men on a memorial at All Hallows, Tottenham.

Amanda Vinson is drinking a Yorkshire Pride by Acorn Brewery at The Antwerp Arms
Antwerp Arms second birthday party after touring around the Bruce Castle Heritage Quarter open day. Local history and a community pub. This is a nice hoppy cask ale.

It is a very creamy tripel. Almost custard as beer. I'm taking the opportunity of the reference in the name to pair it with a photo of the chantery chapel (before 1322) that later became a pub called the Zoar. Now a local history museum in Gravesend.
Matthew T: Beautiful building!
Amanda Vinson: Matthew T. It was so interesting inside, you could see the changes made in each era.
Dan Bransford: Great pics! That has to be haunted! 🍻👻😱
Amanda Vinson: Dan B. Almost certainly. It was also military barracks and hospital for a while.

Amanda Vinson is drinking a Black IPA by Iron Pier at Iron Pier Brewery
I have very carefully been going through the beers I want to drink by abv. This is roasty with black coffee and a big hoppy finish. The hops are more herbal. Not the full coffee citrus hit I look for, but still very good.
Sticking with Christmas despite the season. A little sticky fruitiness. Some caramel at the end. Photo of Bruce Castle earlier today.
