Gael G: That being said, it's very good, and time helps after opening, but it need to get a little rounder to reach the deliciousness and stunning balance of the draft version.

Merci Dany B. !!! Perfect Barley wine to me. Super boozy but also perfectly integrated, fat as f*k. Oily rye whisky w/ vanilla, Salted caramel, spices, oak, and chocolate, coffee, leather, tobacco, raisins, dates, figs. 15% of pure extravagant treat !

Vielen Dank Peter K. !! Nose and palate are bold showing off strawberry purée upfront, as well as kiwi, giving also that typical kiwi acidity. Lime is there too adding a fresh citric touch. Thick smoothie, at 50% fruits it separated quickly obviously.

New batch still in the barrel, I think I like that one better, much more typical of Chenin, super juicy quince, pear too. Looking forward to revisit it when it's carbonated

Perfection. Even better than the bottle we had a few weeks ago actually, creamier and fatter, with vanilla and candied lemon zest, a beauty. So different from regular gueuze after aging, it's a while different beast and I love both. Merci Jean.

Bottled version. Tried directly after opening and a couple hours later. At that point it's a little rough, everything is more intense than on tap, greener, more lemon, more of a peppery bite. Palate is in between and better but still need a few months

Dany Bellette: Glad you enjoyed Gaël 🙂🍻
