This was pretty interesting. Aged in a barrel that held a Toppling Goliath stout. Originally apple brandy barrel. Nice wildflower honey gives this deep floral notes. Mild touch of apple brandy note w some wood spice & tannin Overall smooth, sweet, & tasty

Because I enjoy good bourbon, I struggled with this. There was enough of a bourbon profile that my palate wanted to compare it to bourbon at first. After getting past that, the subtle orange influenced mead/honey was nice.
